These terms govern ticket sales and event registrations made through spoonful.paris for events organised by the Spoonful association. Placing an order means accepting them.
SPOONFUL, non-profit association under French law (loi 1901), registered office at 53 rue Saint-Sabin, 75011 Paris. SIRET: 943 523 845 00015. Contact: spoonful.paris@gmail.com.
A ticket gives access to the event it was bought for, on the announced date and time. Places are limited by the capacity of the space: once it is reached, sales close.
Taking a ticket for an event that requires registration also makes the holder a member of the association for the current year, at no extra cost.
A ticket is personal. It may be passed on to someone else before the event, provided the association is told by email: the name on the ticket is what is checked at the door.
Prices are shown in euros on each event page. Payment is made online by card at the time of the order, through the provider Stripe. No card details pass through or are kept by the association.
Some events are free or pay-what-you-can: the ticket is then issued without payment, under the same terms.
The ticket is emailed as soon as the payment is confirmed, with a QR code to show at the door, on screen or printed, and a link to download it as a PDF. A reminder is sent the day before the event.
A ticket that has not arrived can be recovered by writing to spoonful.paris@gmail.com from the address used for the order.
Under article L221-28 12° of the French consumer code, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities supplied on a specific date. A ticket bought for a dated event therefore cannot be withdrawn from.
If an event is cancelled, tickets are refunded in full and automatically, with nothing to do: the refund goes back to the payment method used, and a confirmation email is sent. How long it takes to arrive depends on the bank, usually a few working days.
If an event is postponed, the ticket stays valid for the new date. Anyone unable to attend may ask for a refund by email, up to the postponed date.
If an event changes substantially (place, time, programme), the ticket stays valid and a refund may be asked for by email before the event.
A ticket is not refunded when the holder cannot come. It may be passed on to someone else, under the terms set out above.
A reasoned refund request may always be sent to spoonful.paris@gmail.com: the association answers case by case, without obligation.
Entry is on presentation of the QR code. The space is open to everyone under the terms recalled by the code of conduct, which everyone present agrees to follow. The association may refuse or end access in case of behaviour contrary to that code, without refund.
In case of late arrival, access remains possible for as long as the event allows, without guarantee or refund.
The information asked for at the time of an order is used to issue the ticket, to check entry and to warn of any change. How it is handled is described in the legal notice.
Any complaint may be sent to spoonful.paris@gmail.com. The association undertakes to answer within fifteen days.
These terms are governed by French law.
